Actinidia deliciosa Solo A reliable self fertile variety producing good crops of slightly smaller fruits  
Actinidia chinensis Hayward The female form of the Kiwi fruit which should be planted with A.c. 'Tomuri' to obtain fruits.  
Actinidia chinensis Tomuri The male form of the Kiwi Fruit is strong growing and has large attractive heart shaped leaves. Plant with the female A. Hayward to produce fruit.  
Actinida kolomikta A most unusual and striking twining climber. The pointed broad leaves are tri-coloured. Some are completely dark green, others are bright rose pink or creamy white from the middle to the tips. All very 'Strawberries and Cream'.  
Actinidia pilosula A little different than your usual 'Kiwi' fruit and very collectable. A srong growing vigorous climber, with attractive dark green lance shaped leaves with a silver white blotch to the tip.  
Akebia quinata Very attractive semi evergreen climber with deep red to purple flowers during April, followed by sausage shaped fruits, adding an exotic touch to the garden.  
Ampelopsis brevipendunculata An exotic strong growing climber. Attractive porcelain blue small berry like fruits appear after a hot summer.  
Ampelopsis Brevipedanculata Elegans A neat, small climber ideal for containers or where space is limited. Leaves mottled pink and white. Deciduous. Plant in any normal soil in sun or partial shade. Upto 2.5 metres tall. Water regularly until established.  
Ampelopsis glandulosa Brevipedanculata Elegans A most stunning climber though slow growing and not especially vigorous, leaves green with strong white splashes and tinges of pink, very effective plant for pot culture  
Ampelopsis megalophylla Will achieve up to 9 metres in time. This rather jungley looking climber will add an element of the exotic to any garden with its attractive large leaves.  
Berberidopsis corallina The 'Coral Plant' is a wonderful climber for a shady moist sheltered site. It has thick dark green heart shaped leaves with spiny margins and glaucous underside. In mid to late summer it produces pendant clusters of crimson cherry-like globular flowers.  
Billardiera longiflora A slender twining climber with narrow mid-green leaves. During summer and autumn it produces solitary bell shaped green-yellow flowers up to 2cm in length. An impressive sight in autumn when the flowers turn into egg shaped purple-blue fruits. Half hardy.  
Campsis radicans The 'Trumpet Vine'. A twining climber with beautiful orange-scarlet trumpet shaped flowers.  
Campsis radicans Flamenco Striking orange red tubular flowers really make this sought after form stand out.  
Campsis radicans Indian Summer Masses of large stunning trumpet shaped flowers of a sumptious apricot yellow contrasting with orange red centres  
Campsis tagliabuana Madame Galen The large samon red trumpet shaped flowers makes this form highly sought after. It is strong growing, but benefits from early support.  
Celastris orbiculatus Dianne A female form, plant with the male Hercules to achieve thosse elusive scarlet and gold-spangled fruits.  
Celastris orbiculatus Hercules With a name like Hercules it just has to be the boy form. Plant with Dianne for a happy union.  
Celastrus orbiculatus A strong growing climber particularly stunning when in autumn the butter yellow foliage is the backdrop to the brown seed pods that split open to reveal the bright red seeds within.

Ercilla volubilis Originally introduced from Chile in 1840 by Thomas Bridges, this unusual self clinging evergreen climber has proved quite hardy here in East Anglia when given a warm sheltered site. Unusual and attractive purplish white flowers in the spring.  
Fallopia baldschuanica Commonly known as Russian Vine or Mile a Minute and I still refer to as Polygonatum baldschuanicum. This is one of those rampant climbers for a quick effect to cover or hide. Do not use in a small or restricted area, you have been warned!  
Fatshedera lizei Variegata An interesting hybrid of Fatsia and Hedera, the form Variegata has an attractive creamy white margin to the leaves. Particularly good plant for shady places.

Hydrangea seemannii A strong growing evergreen climber not that disimiliar from H.petiolaris with its large creamy white flower heads but probably more suited to a sunny spot.

Lathyrus latifolius White Perl A wonderful scrambling plant that will climb over and into shrubs and other plants to great effect, masses of pure white flowers during the height of summer.

Parhenocissus himalayana Its beauty must be in the lovely silver veinal variegation of the leaves especially if grown in part shade. Good autumn colouring as well.  
Parthenocissus himalayana var rubrifolia As its name suggests, originates from the Himalayas. Strong growing with autumnal colours of rich reds and crimson similar to the Virginia Creeper, a must for those who want something different.  
Parthenocissus tricuspidata Lowii An interesting form of the 'Boston Ivy'. The three to seven lobed leaves look as if they have been cut with some large pinking shears. The effect is quite stunning in autumn when the deciduous leaves colour orange-red and crimson.  
Pileostegia viburnoides For the lover of something uncommon this aristocratic evergreen climber is happy in most situations including shade and rewards you with lovely creamy white bunches in late summer. Introduced by Ernest Wilson in 1908.  
Polygonum baldschuanicum Should now really be calling this Fallopia baldschuanicum, but cant get myself out of the habit as its still the well known 'Mile a Minute' or 'Russian Vine ' whatever you want to call it.  
Rubus henryi bambusarum A most interesting and unusual scandent climber with attractive elegant foliage composed of distinctive three leaves. Seems to do best with a little shade and good drainage.  
Schisandra rubrifolia A very choice strong growing twining climber, similar to S. grandiflora but flowers an attractive deep crimson on pendulous stalks in late spring. Originates from India, Burma, and China.  
Schizophragma hydrangeoides The Japanese Hydrangea Vine is a wonderful self-clinging climber with oval, toothed leaves and huge heads of small white flowers surrounded by sterile oval bracts with yellow sepals. It grows in the wild with Hydrangea petiolaris, and tolerates shade.  
Schizophragma hydrangeoides Roseum A gem of a plant, an utterly charming form of the Japanese Hydrangea Vine with pinky-red bracts.

Sollya heterophylla The 'Bluebell Creeper', a beautiful evergreen twining climber with lanceolate leaves and clusters of nodding blue bell shaped flowers in summer and autumn.  
Trachelospermum asiaticum A very choice and sophisticated climber, neat compact growth of glossy green leaves with fragrant creamy white flowers in July, which change to yellow with age. Originates from Japan and Korea.  
Trachelospermum jas. Japonicum (majus) A very striking form more vigourous, taller growing and larger leaves than its ordinary cousin which colur up superbly.  
Trachelospermum jasminoides This attractive evergreen climber has oval dark green glossy leaves. Its fragrant, waxy, Jasmine-like flowers are produced from mid to late summer in warm areas. Benefits from a warm sheltered spot.  
Trachelospermum jasminoides Variegatum Though rather slow growing, this very sought after sophisticated climber is worth the wait. Very pretty with its variegated green leaves splashed with creamy white and often a touch of crimson to the new foliage.  
Vitis cognetiae A very spectacular ornamental vine with huge ovate or rounded leaves with 3-5 lobes. This vigorous grower produces large black fruits with a purple bloom. Wonderful autumn colour as the leaves turn crimson and scarlet.
